ABOUT SPECIALIZED THERAPY FOR FIRST RESPONDERS:
I specialize in working with first responders who are navigating the emotional and physiological impact of their work. This can include exposure to critical incidents, cumulative stress, burnout, and the ways these experiences affect sleep, relationships, and overall well-being.

First responders are regularly exposed to high-intensity, high-stress situations that can accumulate in the body and nervous system over time. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) offers a structured, evidence-based approach to help process these experiences in a safe and supported way. Grounded in trauma-informed care, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity of distressing memories, restore a sense of control, and support nervous system regulation so you can feel more present both on and off duty.
-
We begin by creating a steady, supportive foundation where you can learn tools to manage stress, strengthen regulation, and feel grounded in the process at your own pace.
-
Using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or sound), we help the brain reprocess distressing or stuck experiences so they become less intense and more integrated.
-
I focus on helping you feel more present, clear, and resilient: supporting your ability to carry your experiences differently and return to a more regulated baseline in daily life.
WHAT SETS ME APART
My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, drawing on EMDR, somatic EMDR and mindfulness to help process what has been carried in the body and mind over time. The goal is to create a space where you can safely unpack experiences that are often difficult to talk about, restore a sense of internal steadiness, and strengthen your ability to stay grounded both in and outside of duty.
