ABOUT SPECIALIZED THERAPY FOR FIRST RESPONDERS:

EMDR therapy for first responders, therapy for police, therapy for firefighters, therapy for medical, therapy for therapists, therapy for teachers

I specialize in working with first responders who are navigating the emotional and physiological impact of their work. This can include exposure to critical incidents, cumulative stress, burnout, and the ways these experiences affect sleep, relationships, and overall well-being.

First responders are regularly exposed to high-intensity, high-stress situations that can accumulate in the body and nervous system over time. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) offers a structured, evidence-based approach to help process these experiences in a safe and supported way. Grounded in trauma-informed care, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity of distressing memories, restore a sense of control, and support nervous system regulation so you can feel more present both on and off duty.

WHAT SETS ME APART

Stacked smooth black and gray stones with a waterfall and green moss-covered cliffs in the background.

My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, drawing on EMDR, somatic EMDR and mindfulness to help process what has been carried in the body and mind over time. The goal is to create a space where you can safely unpack experiences that are often difficult to talk about, restore a sense of internal steadiness, and strengthen your ability to stay grounded both in and outside of duty.
